Toni Goldthwait 73, passed away April 17, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday May 11th at 10:00am in Phillips Memorial Baptist Church 565 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Mrs. Goldthwait was born November 13, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late William and Laura Duncan. Growing up in Oxford, Connecticut, she graduated from Southbury High School in 1963, and attended Mitchell College. Toni married her soulmate, Philip Goldthwait in 1969, and they had lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland; Beacon Falls, Connecticut; Cranston, Rhode Island; and DeLand Florida. Besides her husband Philip, she is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey and wife Kimberly of Cranston, and James and wife Rayni of DeLand; as well as five grandchildren, Noah, Jack, Willow, Micah and Jonah, who were the apple of her eye. Toni was known for her big hugs and big heart and helping those in need around her. Because of this, the family requests that any memorial tributes be given in her memory to the Providence Rescue Mission.
