Tricia J. Raposa

Tricia Jean Raposa 52, passed away peacefully at home on July 9, 2024. Tricia is survived by her parents, Geoffrey and Sandra Ellinwood, aunt Judy Ellinwood and cousins Cyrus (Jacqueline Frole), Paul, Christian (Shannon) Leddy and ex-husband Michael Raposa. Her much-loved brother Daniel predeceased her in 2006. Tricia was raised in Cranston, graduating from Cranston High School East. She received her bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Roger Williams University. She was a mortgage broker at several financial companies as well as her own business, Brookside Mortgage. She continued her education at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA  graduating with her RN degree. She worked for the Kennedy-Donavan Center and Serita Health, agencies that provide home and community healthcare of which she was very passionate. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to an animal shelter of your choice in her name.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday July 18th at 5:00pm in the Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.  Visitation will be held for 1hr prior to the Memorial Service (4:00-5:00pm).
